Boston Loses 1st Game

Posted by Erik on November 19, 2007

The Boston Celtics, finally lose their first game of the season. They were defeated by another up and coming in the East, the Orlando Magic 104-102. This finally reigns back into the mortal realm the mythical “Big 3”, Boston’s lifeblood. 8-1 isn’t so bad. If they continue to lose only 1 out every 9 games. Ha ha!

Giving credit where credit is due, Dwight Howard flexed his powerful presence in the paint, showing is ever-developing offensive game. He was too much for Big Ticket to handle, but it was his presence in the paint on both sides of the court that helped his team through Boston’s rally.

Boston lacked inside defense. They allowed too many penetrations down the center. They played good physical D, but developing good plays on the offensive end was what got them the loss. KG was off his passing game, finishing with only 1 assist.
